Your Go-to Gift Guide for a Second Wedding Anniversary

Cotton is the traditional gift for a second anniversary, which can be a little tricky to shop for when it comes to an anniversary gift.  With my second anniversary around the corner, I've pulled together a few cotton gift ideas.

Peruvian Pima Cotton Robe from Nordstrom, $135

A super cozy, soft robe is a must-have and probably something he'll never buy for himself.  Pair this cotton robe with a nice bottle of wine or a scheduled massage for the ultimate gift.

Turkish Hydro Cotton Bathrobe from Mark & Graham, $99

Two years in, new initials are still super fun.  She may have a handful of bridesmaid robes, but I guarantee she doesn't have something lush with her new initials like this one.

Watch Bands

Daniel Wellington Cloth Watch Band from Lord & Taylor, $35

If your significant other doesn't own a Daniel Wellington watch yet, it's time.  These watches are relatively inexpensive and the best part is you can interchange the bands super easily.  Options are endless when it comes to this everyday watch.

Napkins & Towels

To Have & To Hold Tea Towels from Etsy, $32

These little tea towels are perfect to complement a kitchen or even a bathroom with a little something fun for your anniversary month.

Monogram Classic Napkins from Pottery Barn, $36 for 4

These napkins are perfect if you love to entertain.  Napkins are often an afterthought because they can be expensive and you may not have a full set of 12 for a dinner party.  What I love about these in particular is you can monogram them with your family name.  Wisteria, Soft Rose, Ivory and Steeple Grey are all classic color choices that will match almost any table setting.  I typically err on the side of lighter because it will always complement a table.

For a family monogram, you'll use the first initial of your first names on either end and your shared last name in the middle.  For example, my husband & I are Matt & Jen Herrmann.  Our family crest is MHJ.

Cozy Cable Knit Throw from Pottery Barn, $129

The cozy cable knit is a Pottery Barn classic and the only blanket you'll need all day.  With a cable knit pattern on one side, it's a perfect through.  With fleece on the other side, it's super cozy and perfect for snuggling.

Good at Naps Blanket from Calhoun & Co., $108

I LOVE this blanket so Matt if you're listening, I think you found a gift for me, ha!  Seriously though, it's a super cozy blanket with an adorable little saying on it.  Can't you see taking a nice snooze on a sunny, crisp fall Sunday with the window cracked open under this blanket?  Enough said.

Longchamp Boarding Suitcase from Nordstrom, $595

A nice suitcase can last at least ten years.  I love this boarding suitcase from Longchamp because it's a classic color and a perfect size for the overhead bin when you fly.

Herschel Mid Duffel Bag from Nordstrom, $60

Need a weekender bag?  The mid duffel from Herschel is perfect.  It's a great size for 2-3 days worth of clothes and something you can easily toss over your shoulder.

Paige for Men from Nordstrom, $199

Cotton is part of the blend in denim, and you honestly can't go wrong with a fabulous pair of jeans.

AG Graduate Slim Jeans from Nordstrom, $188

A dark pair of jeans in a guy's wardrobe is a must-have, but he often won't replace them himself.  Up his game with a new pair of jeans.

Paige Transcend Skinny Jeans from Nordstrom, $188

Pair a new pair of jeans with a dinner date to show her you love her.  Paige is such a classic brand and dark denim is always a great match.

Paige Transcend Jeans in Black from Nordstrom, $199

If your bride is trendy and loves to dress up, a pair of black jeans by Paige denim may be a great fit.  I love the idea of pairing it with a date whether it be cocktails out or a picnic in the park.
